Black chrome

Black chrome is used primarily as anti-reflective treatment, for optical or military applications.

It can be applied to any type of metal, including tungsten, with or without nickel under-layer. For complex shaped objects, given the low penetrating power of the galvanic bath, it is necessary to agree with the client what are the areas where the treatment may be missing.
