Features of galvanic treatments of Stainless steel passivation
It is a treatment that performs two functions:
removing contamination from the mechanical processing (such as iron elements, which can trigger effects of corrosion of the steel) and creation of a thin protective layer purer and more compact than the one that is spontaneously formed on stainless steels.
It is important to know the type of steel that must be treated to choose the most suitable working conditions, as indicated by the applicable standards (type of solution, temperature and treatment time).
The treatment does not produce dimensional changes of the treated objects.
